Version 5.5 (November 2010) now supports Windows 7 in both x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) modes. This major upgrade adds support for multi-language extensions (MLX), the ability to perform auto-translations from Chinese into English, German, Spanish, Korean and over 50 other languages. Text-based PDF files can now be accessed with LiveScan and HighlightScan; image-based PDFs are not supported. New Ruby text formatting aligns Pinyin with Chinese text; just paste into Excel and format.

Version 5.3 (July 2009) incorporates Loqu8's updated iNtuition engine. For netbook and other lower performance computers with the Intel Atom processor, Loqu8 runs faster and more efficiently. Mouse motions are significantly faster. Loqu8 is also adding support for Microsoft Windows 7 RC1 and Windows Server 2008 R2. On 64-bit (x64) Windows, iCE runs in 32-bit (x86) mode.

Version 5.1 (January 2009) new view options lets you tailor the scan translation window with only the information you want (simplified/traditional Chinese, Pinyin/Bopomofo, tone colors; streamlined menus; suggest new words; clear favorite words. Performance and compatibility improvements. Details

Version 5.0.1.84 (December 2008) expanded dictionary with over 80,000 words. Minor bug fixes.

Version 5.0 (August 2008) incorporates Loqu8's new iNtuition engine with support for most popular applications, including Mozilla Firefox 3, Microsoft Office and more. Microsoft IE 8 (beta 2) is supported.
